Hello..I would like to take this opportunity to let everyone know of a great automotive body and mechanic shop located in Chicago.. Royal Automotive shop is located on north Elston Ave..and its family owned. They give speey high-quality collision estimates and they are great at insurance estimates. Key themes include honesty. professionalism and going above and beyond such as detailing the car. Sue Lamb works there and you can count on her fast and reliable service. She is kind and considerate and you will not be disappointed when you visit them at Royal Automotive in Chicago on Elston Avenue.

Royal Automotive was an amazing experience. They were highly recommended when our vehicle was involved in a pretty significant accident. The shop was communicative and friendly. Chris and Su were both extremely nice and patient with our questions throughout the process. When we received our vehicle back, they had detailed the interior! It was a a great surprise to have a clean vehicle returned to us. They did major repair work, over $13,000 worth! So far so good and I am more than happy to give them a 5 star review!

Royal was highly recommended to me by a good friend who has been in the car scene for over 25 years. My 2002 Wagon has seen better days. I needed new paint, rust taken care of, and dents taken out. From the minute I met Su and Chris, I knew I would be in great hands. They were honest, friendly, and easy to work with. They had my wagon for four months. Su kept me updated frequently on the progress of its refresh. When I came to pick up my wagon after they were done...WOW!!!!!!! Felt like I was back at the dealer in 2002. My wagon looked showroom new! No details were missed from when we began the process four months prior. 2025: Had minor body work done on my 2022 Legacy. I have been coming to Royal Automotive for 4-5 years now and it has been a great experience each time. Everyone from the mechanics in the garage, to Sue and Chris in the front desk are kind and welcoming every time I’m in. They focus on prioritizing the work a car needs and take into consideration vehicle age and budget when talking through recommended repairs. I initially took my car in after it was rear ended by a hit and run driver. Sue, Chris and the team worked quickly and efficiently with my insurance (Progressive) to repair the damage and kept me up to date each step of the way. Their efficiency and communication made that ordeal less stressful. Since then, I have been in for mechanical work and they have exceeded expectations each time. On a separate occasion Sue even showed me how to top off my oil to avoid replacing a leak in my older car. All of their work comes with a warranty and the peace of mind that they will work with you to discuss any concerns. Finally, for the women reading this who may be weary of entering auto shops alone, this is a clean, safe, professional space. I highly recommend them.
