12/06/25 – Update in response to the shop’s reply: Thank you for responding, but it is not the wrong shop. I personally went in to ask questions about additional work I was considering while my car was there, and this was during the time you were addressing the recall repair that VW contracted you to complete. Please take ownership of the situation instead of suggesting I have the wrong shop. This body shop installed a spoiler on my Tiguan as part of a VW recall. They only provide a 12-month warranty for something that should never detach on its own. Now, two years later, I discovered the spoiler sitting on my rear window. Clearly, the installation was not done correctly. Thankfully, it happened while the car was parked — if it had come off while driving, it could have caused an accident. I would avoid this body shop.
